Chirkov Yuri Eduardovich

Biography

 I studied at the Donetsk State Medical Institute. Gorky (1982-1988 gg.). He defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences. on the topic "Percutaneous kidney biopsy under ultrasound control with nephropathy in children." From 1988 to 1993 I worked as a general surgeon in the department of surgery of the Central Clinical Hospital No.6 in Donetsk. From 1993 to 2014 - a doctor in the department of surgery (interventional ultrasound) Diagnostic Center of Donetsk Regional Clinical Territorial Medical Association (Doktmo). Every year, I conducted about 800 diagnostic and therapeutic interventions under the supervision of ultrasound and CT on various organs - the thyroid gland, liver, kidneys, pancreas, lungs, etc. Thanks to 21 years of work, the Center received a unique experience in solving extremely complicated medical problems. I have two specializations: a surgeon of the highest category and a doctor of ultrasound diagnostics. Member of the European Association of Pancreatology, Ukrainian Pancreatology Club, Ukrainian Doppler Club. The author of 2 inventions, 70 printed works, the executive secretary of the journal "Radiation diagnostics. Radiation therapy". Among my professional interests are interventional nonvascular (i.e., non-vascular) radiology (diagnostic biopsies and minimally invasive therapeutic interventions under the supervision of ultrasound or computed tomography), expert ultrasound diagnostics, thyroid pathology.
