Piontkovsky Mikhail

Biography

I graduated from the Faculty of Physical Rehabilitation of the Open International University for Human Development "Ukraine" (Zhytomyr). After training, he completed a training course in physical rehabilitation for the Canadian and Dutch training programs. In 2005 he completed a full course of studies in the Yumeiho-therapy program on the basis of the medical institute of the Ukrainian Association of Traditional Medicine (Kiev). In 2007 he graduated from the Kyiv National University of Physical Education and Sports, Faculty of Physical Rehabilitation. In 2013-2014 he was trained in Bobat - therapy for adults, basic and advanced levels in the city of Krakow, Poland. I am a certified Bobat therapist . Since 2004, he worked in the neurological department of the regional clinical hospital in Zhytomyr. Since 2006 he worked in the rehabilitation center for people with spinal cord injuries "Renaissance of the ARS", Kiev, as a specialist in physical rehabilitation. Since 2008, he worked at the Institute of Gerontology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, in the department of physiology and pathology of the supporting and motor apparatus. Since 2010 I work in the clinic "Oberig" as a specialist in physical rehabilitation. I have all the methods of examination and physical rehabilitation of neurological patients. I use Bobat, PNF, to restore my motor activity (I teach patients to sit, stand, walk after a stroke). I deal with the problems of spasticity and the formation of pathological postures in patients after a stroke. I am an expert in orthotics and mobility for patients after a stroke and trauma. Member of the Ukrainian Association of Specialists in Physical Rehabilitation.
