Biography

 He graduated from the Kuibyshev Medical Institute (Russia). Subject of the thesis: "Reconstructive surgery of lung cancer". Subject of the doctoral dissertation: "Treatment of cicatricial esophageal stenosis". He passed an internship at the Massachusetts Hospital (Boston, USA, 2015), at the Thoracic Surgery Clinic (Krakow, Poland, 2016). The author of more than 110 publications, 10 patents. I regularly take part in conferences on thoracic surgery and oncology. I am a member of the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons. I have the highest category in thoracic surgery and oncosurgery. From 1985 to 1990 he worked as a surgeon of the Starodub Central District Hospital of the Bryansk Region. In 1991-1992 years. was trained in clinical residency in thoracic surgery and pulmonology at the Kyiv Institute of Advanced Studies. In 1992-2014 years. worked as a thoracic surgeon at the Kiev Clinical Hospital No. 17. Since 2014 I hold the post of head of the Department of Oncology of the NMU. A.A. Bogomolets.

Research Interest

Professional interests is reconstructive surgery of the esophagus, trachea, bronchi, as well as surgery of the lungs, mediastinum, diaphragm, thyroid gland.
