Biography

 Graduated with honors from the Kiev Medical Institute. A.A. Bogomolets specializing in pediatrics in 1983. In 1992 she defended her thesis on neonatology, and in 2009 - her doctoral dissertation on congenital immunodeficiency in children. Trained at the University of Alberta, Canada (1997). Subjects of the internship are children's infectious diseases and immunology. In 1999, she completed an internship at the University of Tel-Aviv (Israel) for childhood infectious diseases, and also trained at the University of Graz (Austria) in 2000. UNICEF Certified Trainer for Immunoprophylaxis of Infectious Diseases (2000), on the Prevention of HIV Infection in Children (2000). The main areas of clinical activity: often ill children, vaccination, congenital and acquired immunodeficiencies, childhood infectious diseases, including HIV infection in children, TORCH infections, immunodeficiency-associated infections.
