Ramon Laguarte

Biography

Ramon Laguart holds the post of President for Emerging Markets and Growing European Markets since September 2012. Ramon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management from the ESADE Business School in Barcelona and a Master's Degree in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He started his career at Volkswagen. From 1987 to 1992, he worked at Chupa Chups, a confectionery company engaged in business development in the Middle East and Far East. In 1992 he was sent to the United States, where he served as Chief Executive Officer of Chupa Chups. Before Pepsi, Ramon came in 1996 and took various positions: General Manager of PepsiСo Iberia Snacks, General Manager of PepsiСo for appetizers in Greece, vice president for snack marketing in Spain, vice president for commerce in PepsiСro Europe. From September 2008 to September 2012, Ramon served as President of Pepsi Eastern Europe. Ramon is currently working on business development in Eastern and Southeastern Europe, continuing the success of PepsiСo's business transformation in Turkey and Russia. He is responsible for a region that includes Russia, Ukraine, the CIS, Poland and Central Europe, Turkey and the Balkans.
