Biography
Jim North joined Ferrexpo in November 2014. In February 2015 Jim was appointed the Non-Executive Chairman of Ferrexpo Belanovo Mining. He was previously Chief Operating Officer of London Mining plc, accountable for setting the operational and investment strategy for its operations and projects around the world. Prior to this he held a variety of senior operational management roles with Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton and Mount Isa Mines, in Africa, South America and Australia, where he focused on general management, project development and operations improvement and turnaround, across multiple commodities including Iron Ore, Coal, Base Metals and Aluminium.
