Biography
July 9, 2014 the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko appointed Dmytro Shymkiv as Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, responsible for reforms coordination, innovations and change management in the Administration. Currently Dmytro is co-chair of the Executive Reforms Committee and Secretary of the National Reforms Council, advisory body to the President. The Committee’s main function is to prepare proposals for reforms strategic planning, coordination of reforms implementation and monitoring. Besides, Dmytro is responsible for change management, reorganization, innovations and implementation of e-governance in the President Administration. Among his achievements are drafting President’s strategy for sustainable development “Ukraine 2020”, establishing National Reform Council and Project Management Office for reforms, creation of the National Reform Monitoring framework, enabling possibility to launch third generation mobile technology (3G) through competition, driving “Digital Ukraine” and “Go Global” initiatives, evangelizing electronic public procurement system “ProZorro”, creation of electronic petitions service to the President of Ukraine, introduction of various innovations in the Presidential Administration, etc.
