Biography
Mr. Matthew Gordon is currently employed at Oak Street Advisors in the position of Director. Matt is an investment banking professional. His philosophy is to help clients realize extraordinary value through the flawless planning and execution of liquidity/exit events, financings and the acquisition of strategically complementary businesses and assets that foster aggressive sustainable growth. Matt began his career as a mergers and acquisitions attorney, working for the largest and most established legal firms on Wall Street, including Sullivan & Cromwell and Fried Frank, where he represented some of the worldÕs largest companies and financial institutions in a variety of corporate and M&A transactions. His experience includes both domestic and cross-boarder transactions in manufacturing, technology, financial services, advertising, telecom and pharmaceutical sectors, among others. He left the traditional legal practice when he was hired by one of his clients, a European telecom company, to lead their mergers and acquisitions group. Eventually asked to lead their US division, Matt spearheaded a number of acquisitions and rationalized the entire partnership/acquisition process.
