Alexander V. Pogozhev

Biography

Mr. Alexander V. Pogozhev has been a Chief Operating Officer of Metinvest B.V. since September 1, 2016. Mr. Pogozhev has been the Chief Operations Officer of Metinvest Holding, LLC since 2016. Mr. Pogozhev served as Director of Metallurgical Division of Metinvest Holding LLC since 2011 until 2016. Mr. Pogozhev served as Director of Steel and Rolled Products Division at Metinvest B.V., since October 2010 until October 1, 2011. Mr. Pogozhev served as Director of Steel and rolled products division of Metinvest Holding LLC since October 2010 until 2011. He served as a Interim Director of Metinvest's Mining Segment at Metinvest B.V. since April 1, 2016 until August 31, 2016. Mr. Pogozhev served as Chief Operating Officer of Integrated Mills at Severstal North America Inc., and at Severstal Dearborn, Inc. He also serves as Production Director of Open Joint-Stock Company Severstal and served as its Executive Director. Mr. Pogozhev has an extensive professional experience at large enterprises of steel industry. Since 1991 he had been working at Open Joint-Stock Company Severstal, where he held executive positions, including the position of the Chief Operations Officer. Since 2008, Mr. Pogozhev served as the Chief Operations Director of Severstal International, USA. In 1997, he became head of the operating department and in 2000 was named Chief Operating Officer at Open Joint-Stock Company Severstal's Cherepovets, Russia, steel operations. In 2008, Mr. Pogozhev began working with Severstal North America as well as OAO Severstal in a variety of executive management and strategic positions. He served as a Director of Open Joint-Stock Company Severstal. He graduated from SevMash Technical University with a degree in machinery technology. Mr. Pogozhev also holds a degree in financial management from the State Academy of Management and Master of Business Administration degree from the Newcastle Business School at the University of Northumbria.
