Biography
Natalie Kushko is the Senior ClimateNatalie Kushko is highly qualified sustainable economic development, climate change, UNFCCC and carbon markets expert with extensive on-ground experience on Kyoto Protocol flexible mechanisms and climate change policy making on both international and national, as well as regional levels in emerging markets. Mrs. Kushko is an Advisor to the Head of the State Environmental Investment Agency of Ukraine and UNFCCC Chief Negotiator on behalf of Ukraine, since May 2008 dealing with domestic and international climate change, carbon market, low-emission and environment policy issues including flexible mechanisms, domestic low carbon legislations, GIS, EE and RE. Previously, Mrs. Kushko has been working as Ukraine Country Coordination/Origination Team for the world leading carbon aggregator Ecosecurities Group Plc dealing with JI projects developlment and implemetation support in Eurasia region. Mrs. Kushko has been a member of USAID sustainable development team program in Eurasia Region and also served Industry NGO Executive Director as a part of USAID funded project on Business Sustainable Development. Worked as Senior Agribusiness Experts with EU TACIS project and managed private business entity. and Low Emission Policy at USAID Municipal Energy Reform Project in Ukraine.
