Dr. Ayesha Cheema-Hasan is a Consultant Pediatrician, and a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician. She completed her MBBS, from Sindh Medical College, Karachi Pakistan in 1997. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Adjunct) at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 2012. Dr. Ayesha has over 16 years of clinical experience in the field of pediatrics. She completed her pediatric training at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, USA in 2001. She worked as a General Pediatrician and Clinical Instructor at Connecticut Children’s Hospital for many years. In 2013, Dr. Cheema-Hasan decided to pursue further training in her field of interest and completed a three-year fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Brown University in Rhode Island. During her fellowship, Dr. Cheema-Hasan received many awards. She was given the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (SDBP) Young Investigator award for 2015 and a travel award from the AAP for an advocacy workshop in Washington DC.
