Sudhir Sawant

Biography

 Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Over 30 years of experience in the auditing profession, out of which about 21 years with a ‘Big 4’. He has been in the Gulf region for over 25 years. Mr. Sawant has particular expertise in the banking and finance sector, including statutory audit of large public sector commercial and industrial banks, audit of Central Bank of a country, bank examinations on behalf of the Central Bank and group consolidations. He is in-charge of the Firm’s audit portfolio of clients operating in a variety of business segments. Also responsible for the technical direction of the Firm, including implementation and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), auditing techniques and documentation and in-house training to the Firm’s staff
