Biography
Dr. Bansal is an assistant professor in the Division of Nephrology who specializes in the care of chronic kidney disease patients. She also has expertise in care of kidney disease patients with cardiovascular disease. She is an investigator at the Kidney Research Institute and conducts research to study the development and treatment of cardiovascular disease in patients with kidney disease. Dr. Bansal earned her bachelor's degree from Brown University and her M.D. from the University of Connecticut. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Tufts Medical Center. She completed her nephrology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, where she was also on faculty for several years before coming to the University of Washington.
