Santhi Adigopula

Biography

Santhi Adigopula, MD is a Staff Physician in the Heart & Vascular Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Adigopula worked briefly in the UAE before relocating from the United States, where she was working as an attending physician at the Hamilton Medical Center, in Dalton, US. Born in India, Dr. Adigopula earned her medical degree from the Guntur Medical College, Guntur, India. She continued her training in the United Kingdom and went on to become a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP, UK). She then moved to the United States and completed her Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship at the Yale University School of Medicine  Connecticut, US. She completed additional training in Cardiovascular MRI/CT at the Johns Hopkins Medicine Suburban Hospital Maryland, US. Dr Adigopula is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, Cardiac CTA and Nuclear Cardiology. Her research interests include Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Women’s Heart Health.  She has worked on multiple research projects on Cardiovascular Prevention in the Department of Preventive Cardiology at Columbia University, New York, US.  In addition, she has given presentations at the American College of Physicians and the American Heart Association scientific sessions.
