Dr. Gowri Ramanathan

Biography

 "Dr. Gowri holds an MBBS from Melbourne University, Australia, FRCOG from RCOG, UK and CCT London, UK. She completed her sub-specialty training in Fetal Medicine at King’s College Hospital London and obtained the Diploma in Fetal Medicine from the Fetal Medicine Foundation, UK. She was awarded Fellowship with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FRCOG) in 2013. She was shortlisted for the Abu Dhabi Medical Distinction Award in 2011 and 2013. She was also commended for Arab Health Award in 2009 and 2013. EXPERIENCE With 20 years of experience, Dr. Ramanathan was trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Malaysia, and also in the UK, where she worked as a Research Fellow in Fetal Medicine with Professor Kypros Nicolaides. In Abu Dhabi, she was a Consultant at Corniche Hospital (2007–2014), and helped establish the city’s first Fetal Medicine Unit."
