Dr. Mohamed A. Latif Hassan Youssef

Biography

Dr. Mohamed Youssef graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1972. He also holds a master’s degree and a Diploma of Radio-diagnosis and Ultrasound from Alexandria University, Egypt. He completed two intensive training courses in early detection of Breast Cancer and Screening Mammography/Breast Biopsies at Nottingham International Institute, UK. He completed Breast Courses accredited by the Canadian Association of Radiologists, Medical Professionals and The European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education – as well as a multi-disciplinary course on Breast Cancer at Nottingham National Breast Screening Training Center. He is an accredited 2nd Reader for Mammography by both Nottingham International Institute and the World Health Organization. EXPERIENCE With over 40 years of experience, Dr. Youssef had been a Radiologist at General Naval Hospital and Poly Clinics, Mostapha Kamel Military Hospital and General Military Hospital, Alexandria, Egypt. He worked for more than 20 years at the Ministry of Health, National Breast Screening Program in Abu Dhabi as Radiologist A and 2nd Reader for Abu Dhabi and North Emirates, with a specialization in Mammography. He has also provided practical and theoretical training sessions for Junior Radiologists and Radiographers in Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates.
