Biography

Dr. Sandra Calderon completed her Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery from the National University of San Marcos in Lima, Peru, and specialized in Pulmonology/Respiratory Medicine at La Paz University Hospital in Madrid, Spain. She is a member of the Medical College of Peru; the Official School of Doctors of Madrid, Spain; the Spanish Society of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery; and a member of the European Respiratory Society (E.R.S.). In 2013, Dr. Calderon completed an observership program at the Center for Mechanical Ventilator Alternatives and Pulmonary Rehabilitation at the University Hospital at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in New Jersey, USA. EXPERIENCE With over 6 years of experience, Dr. Calderon held multiple positions at the Primary Health Center Huaranguillo, Peru and as an Internal Medical Resident in Pulmonology at La Paz University Hospital.
