Biography
Angela has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of state and local taxation including: planning and restructuring of multi-state businesses, audit controversy and appeal, nexus studies, voluntary disclosure agreements, negotiated incentives, tax credits, ASC 740 review, FIN 48 implementation, litigation support, mergers and acquisition, sales and use tax consulting, unclaimed property consulting, outsourced engagements and many others. She specializes in all areas of state and local taxes and has extensive experience in income and franchise taxes. Prior to joining BDO, Angela practiced for almost 5 years at Grant Thornton, 2 years at PwC, and 9 years at Arthur Andersen, as well as 4.5 years in industry focusing on state and local taxation at DTE Energy Company.
