Biography
Dr. Tamer Metwally joined the American Center for Psychiatry and Neurology (ACPN) as a Consultant Psychiatrist, when he relocated from the United Kingdom to the United Arab Emirates in November 2017. Dr. Metwally was an elected Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) in 2010. After completing his Higher Specialist Training (HST) and obtaining Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from the General Medical Council (GMC), he worked as a consultant in the UK's National Health Service (NHS), in adult psychiatry. He was also a lecturer and an examiner at University of Liverpool School of Medicine.
