Biography

 As the Asst. Claims Manager, my role commands interacting with clients as their Risk Advisor (in monitoring the claims from a policy-management viewpoint), the underwriters and managing a team of medically qualified professionals, who cater to assessment of the Direct Billing and Reimbursement Claims under the Group Medical and Life Policies. In my capacity, I collaborate with the client servicing team of MARSH to provide benchmarking services so as to enhance the client value proposition. Provide insight on market reviews interms of medical inflation within the region and current industry practice. Develop a Project-related Claims and Administration Procedures Manual. Highlight various risk profiles of individual client and help them to manage their risks to avoid serious consequences. Supports the Clients position for maximum recovery of claims, facilitate reporting and gathering of information, eliminate any conflict of interest. Carry out Induction Programs for insured members to understand their healthcare benefits and optimal utilization of applicable benefits. Play a vital link between the junior executives and the senior management within the Department to manage the various challenges faced and to provide the best practical solution. Ensure training programs for new joiners and chart out different job responsibilities based on the individual performance.
