Biography

My journey with Emirates NBD started 22 years ago when I first came to the UAE. I had previously worked as a beauty consultant in Germany and my friend who worked at the bank told me that I could apply my communication skills I learned from my former job to a job as a teller/customer service representative in the bank. At that time, there was just one floor of employees in a building in Old Dubai. I've seen the bank grow from that one floor to a huge organization spread throughout the region and beyond with hundreds of employees. It has been the most amazing experience to see and be a part of the transformation of something so small into one of the biggest banks in the region. For me it's been a 22 year, 24/7 commitment because I have such great relationships with my clients, some having even been with me throughout my tenure at Emirates NBD. I really feel that I am a part of their family and they request my help with many aspects of their banking life. Even when I'm on vacation, I am connected to their lives because anything can come up with them at any time and they really count on me to be there for them. We establish a bond and a form of trust because they know I am there to do anything within my power to solve their issues. This trust and commitment from them, has kept me committed to the bank for all these years.
