Biography

I have been attending Dubai Womens College to get my bachelors degree in Finance while I work with Emirates NBD. I work at the bank in the morning and attend my classes in the evening. I really like that Emirates NBD is understanding of my schedule and allows me the time to both work and pursue my studies. Working here in Risk Analysis has taught me to think outside of the box and to be more analytical in my approach to problem solving. From the very beginning I was taught that I should not just think of an equation as 1+1=2. It does not just equal 2. You have to see why it equals 2 and other factors that influence the equation for you to be able to properly understand and speak about the equation as a whole. In this job you also need to constantly update yourself on the latest news from around the world. You need to know the intricacies of the world economy and be able to predict what steps the bank needs to take to deal with any changes in economy. I like that challenge of always staying on top of the news and being a part of a change in strategy or policy based on what is happening in the world around us
