Namitha Ashok

Biography

I started out working with the Emirates Bank group just after High School at the ripe young age of 17. In 2007, I was assigned a temporary post in Network International working as a Processor in the Chargeback Issuing Unit. Two years later, I landed a temporary position in the Fraud Monitoring Unit of Emirates NBD and stayed there for a year until I moved to my current position as a Dispute Processor in the Dispute Unit. Starting to work at a bank at 17 is a daunting task but the team here at Emirates NBD really nurtured me and I have grown and learned a lot in my time here. I've really fit into the culture here which is important for any job you have. I believe that if you cannot make your team a part of your life, both professionally and personally, your work life gets dull and drab and you lose the motivation to work. This is why I am happy to say that I have a great team to work with who have also become my support system.
