Dr Rory Mcgoldrick

Biography

 Dr Rory McGoldrick is a Board-Certified Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.Growing up in Chelsea in London, Dr Rory always wanted to be an artist but after being guided by an inspirational teacher towards the biological sciences and ultimately medicine, he enrolled in medical school. Dr Rory quickly realized surgery and particularly plastic surgery, which combines precision and always requires an artistic and meticulous eye for detail, was his true calling.Dr Rory has more than 15 years of surgical experience and thanks to numerous fellowships he has harnessed a reputation as an expert in plastic and reconstructive surgery – a field he has worked in for more than 10 years.After graduating in 2001 with a First Class Honours BSc in Surgical Sciences from the Imperial College London, he undertook surgical training at St. Georges Hospital Medical School University of London before completing his specialist training in plastic surgery both in the England and the USA. This training included head and neck, skin cancer and breast reconstruction along with hand, craniofacial and burns surgery.He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in Plastic Surgery, FRCS (Plast.) in 2013 and entered the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery.
