Dr. Prathiba Vinod

Biography

  Dr. Prathiba has graduated from PSG Institute of Medical Science, Coimbatore in 2006. She has done post graduation from Institute of Child Health, Madras medical college, Chennai in 2010. She has 8 years of experience in the field of Paediatrics. She has done graduation from Asia’s largest Pediatric Institute, Institute of child health, Chennai where she underwent intensive training in all fields of paediatrics including emergency, neonatology and intensive care. She has worked in India's famous and JCI accredited Apollo Children's hospital as a registrar in a paediatric emergency department for 2 years and has gained experience in managing a variety of pediatric emergencies as well as outpatient visits. Post that she moved to Coimbatore and worked in a multi-specialty teaching hospital, PSG institution of medical science for 1 year. She also has teaching experience for postgraduates in paediatrics for 4 years. She has presented papers in various national and state level paediatric conferences. She is very compassionate to kids and is blessed with the healing touch. She has undergone training in NALS (Neonatal Advanced Life Support), PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support) and Paediatric Trauma Workshop.
