Biography
Prof Dr Kin Liao had received his Bachelor degree B.Sc. from Engineering Science & Mechanics, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (USA) in 1987 and Master degree from M.Sc., Engineering Science & Mechanics, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (USA) in 1991. Presently he is Professor and Interim Chairof Department of Aerospace Engineering, Khalifa University. He completed his Ph.D., Materials Engineering Science, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (USA) in 1995.

Advanced materials for clean energy applications and aerospace applications, Nano-materials and nano-mechanics ,Mechanics of cells and tissues, Molecular simulation of living and non-living systems Ø Mechanics and durability of composite materials
