Biography
Prof Dr. Sami Muhaidat held the position of Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering Science, Simon Fraser University (CAN). Previously, he was an NSERC postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto (CAN), and was a winner of the 2006 NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship Competition. He currently holds the position of Visiting Reader (equivalent to Associate Professor) in the Faculty of Engineering,University of Surrey (UK).
Research Interest
Enabling technologies for high-speed visible light communication systems, Millimeter wave communications for future 5G cellular networks, RF energy harvesting in wireless networks, Linear precoding techniques for massive MIMO systems with RF impairments, Enabling technologies for high throughput satellite systems
