Biography

 Khalid Jasem Bin Kalban is the Chairman of Marka PJSC. He is one of UAE’s most respected businessmen and brings a wealth of expertise from across the industrial, financial and investment sectors to Marka.  Mr. Kalban serves in a number of major roles including Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Investments PJSC; Director of Union Properties PJSC and Chairman of Al Mal Capital PSC; and Member of the Board of Directors for the National General Insurance Company PSC. Among his high-profile international roles, Mr. Kalban is Board of Directors for First Energy Bank B.S.C., The Islamic Bank of Asia Limited and Arcapita Investment Management B.S.C.
