Biography
Mohammed Ahmed Al Bowardi is the Minister of State for Defense, UAE. In addition, he is the Chairman of the Committee for Developing and Implementing the Water and Agriculture Strategy for Abu Dhabi, Vice Chairman of Dolphin Energy and a board member of Tawazun Holding. He is the Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Environment Agency, Deputy Chairman of the Mohamed Bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund and the International Fund for Houbara Conservation, as well as a member of the Board of Trustees of Abu Dhabi University (ADU). Mr. Al Bowardi has previously held the positions of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of its Executive Committee. Mr. Al Bowardi holds a degree in History and Political Science from Lewis & Clark College, USA.
