Biography

 Dr Jacob has over 28 years of experience in Ophthalmology including 17 years with NMC as Specialist Ophthalmology.   He completed his MBBS in 1980 from Ranchi University, India.  He attained his Diploma in Ophthalmology with first rank from the Institute of Ophthalmology, Aligarh, India and his MS Ophthalmology from Rajendra Medical College, Ranchi, India and ranked second in the University.   Prior to joining NMC, he has worked in Garnet Memorial Eye Hospital in Tamil Nadu, India, which is a 150 bedded eye hospital. He was in-charge of M.O.S.C. Eye hospital, Kerala, India, which is a 50 bedded eye hospital
