Biography
Dr. Baher Massoud joined NewBridge in October 2013. Formerly, Baher served as the Regional Head, Medical & Clinical Affairs at Pfizer MEA where he also chaired the Regional medical council, which included Medical Affairs, Drug safety, Medinfo, Clinical Research, Health Outcomes (HEOR), QA & Regulatory, and supervised the Regional therapeutic & Country Medical Affairs teams across Africa and Middle East countries. Baher served as a member of both Pfizer Regional Leadership team in Dubai as well as Global Medical Affairs leadership team in New York. Previously, he held the role of Area Medical Officer and CR&D Regional Director for Wyeth MENA, leading the Medical Affairs function as well as Wyeth’s CR&D operations in the region. Earlier, he worked with Eli Lilly in the region. Prior to this Baher was Associate Professor of Internal Medicine & Endocrinology at Ain-Shams University - Cairo, Egypt.
