Dr. Ashwin Avadhani

Biography

  After completing MBBS from Bangalore Medical College, India in 2002, Dr. Ashwin obtained his MS from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India in the year 2007. He holds a Diplomate of the National Board in Orthopaedics, India and is a Member of National Academy of Medical Sciences, India. His is a Fellow of National Board Spine Surgery and holds a Fellowship in Spine Surgery, Singapore. Dr. Ashwin has more than 12 years of experience in the field of orthopaedics and worked as a consultant spine surgeon in a tertiary care hospital in Bangalore, India. He practices Orthopaedics with a focus on spine surgeries. His special area of interest lies in microscopic cervical and lumbar discectomies to advanced spinal deformity correction surgeries. He has more than 25 research and publications to his credit. Dr. Avadhani was ranked 2nd in India for selection into a two year national board affiliated spine surgery training programme in 2008. He also received the gold medal for best outgoing postgraduate in the department of Orthopaedics in Manipal University in 2007. Dr Ashwin can speak English, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, and Tamil.
