Dr. Mohamed Soliman

Biography

  Dr. Soliman obtained his Bachelor degree in medicine with excellent grade and honors from prestigious Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt and later obtained his M.Sc degree in Paediatrics from the same university and proceeded further in his career by earning the Membership of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH-UK) in addition to being an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Collegiate Membership candidate of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons – Glasgow (MRCPS-Glasgow) and  Royal College of Physicians - Edinburgh (MRCP-Edinburgh). He started his professional career in 2006 as a Resident Doctor in one of the most senior tertiary care hospital in Egypt – Cairo University Edu Hospitals. Since then he has worked at various governmental and private hospitals in Egypt. This is included being the head of newborn service and NICU at Cairo Medical Centre. Last, he worked in King Hamad University Hospital as Senior SPR – NICU in Bahrain prior to joining NMC Specialty Hospital – Dubai as Paediatric Specialist and Neonatologist. Dr. Soliman has strong academic background and number of international publications to his credit and continues to upgrade his skills by attending various certified courses such as different Neonatal Ventilation Support Workshops, Basic Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Extended Paediatric Life Support, Critical Care Ultrasound and Paediatric Fundamental Critical Care Support in which he is a certified instructor, and amongst many others. Dr. Soliman specializes mainly in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) in which he has vast experience with extreme preterm respiratory support and nutrition, neonatal cranial ultrasound as well as neonatal targeted/functional echocardiography screening; this is in addition to his clinical experiences in Paediatric Emergency and General Paediatrics with special interest in follow up of NICU graduates and bronchial asthma. Dr. Soliman speaks Arabic and English fluently.
