Biography
Dr. Banitt completed his ophthalmology training at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York City. He later became subspecialty trained in cornea and external diseases at the University of Michigan, and glaucoma at the University of Miami. Dr. Banitt is especially interested in patients with both cornea and glaucoma problems. His goal is to find better surgeries to improve people's sight. Dr. Banitt is a UW associate professor of ophthalmology. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
