Dr. Ismail Mahgoub

Biography

Dr. Ismail Mahgoub received MSc and PhD degrees in Reservoir Engineering from CNRS, INPL, NANCY France in 1979 and 1982 respectively. Dr. Mahgoub is a Reservoir Engineer with more than 30 years of extensive experience at several oil basins on the earth. He started his practical professional career in parallel to his academic occupation. Since 1982, he has approached the industrial petroleum sector by presenting his reservoir engineering consultancy services to BP GUPCO, Khalda, WEPCO and Kuwait Oil Company. Dr. Mahgoub is the author and/or co-author of tens of papers in the most refereed bulletins and journals and has presented several papers at international conferences. He taught several short courses in Reservoir and Petroleum Engineering to the Technical Staff of ADCO, ADNOC, ADMA, ZADCO, Qatar Petroleum, ARAMCO, PDO, Maersk, Bp, Ministry of Oil, ALFurate-Syria, ETAP-Tunisia, Dubai Petroleum Company, Sonatrach, Apache, REPSOL and others.
