Julie Torode

Biography

Based in Geneva, Julie Torode is Deputy CEO and Director of Advocacy and Networks for the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). Julie joined UICC in 2008, where she has led the organisation’s advocacy activities, with a particular focus on the 2011 UN High-level Meeting NCDs and subsequent events. She has also spearheaded the development of a number of programmes at UICC and the management of the organisation’s flagship publications, TNM and the International Journal of Cancer.
