Biography
Prior to joining the University of Dubai he taught at various institutions including the Universities of Aberdeen, Robert Gordon, Manchester Metropolitan, and the Manchester College. Also he has worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Manchester (Law and Development). Prior to coming into academia, he qualified as a lawyer (India) and practised as an advocate in India, and is also a qualified solicitor (England and Wales). He holds a PhD (International Economic Law) from the University of Manchester. Enquiries from prospective PhD students interested in undertaking doctoral research, in areas related to his research, are welcome.
Research Interest
His present research focuses on International Economic Law generally including aspects of development and international taxation, Law and Development and Financial Crimes (Money Laundering and Bribery & Corruption).
