Biography
Babar Shah is an Assistant Professor in the College of Information Technology at Zayed University. Dr. Babar Shah received his PhD on the topic of energy efficient wireless and mobile communication from Gyeongsang National University, where he studied at the Department of Informatics. He holds two Master degrees, Master in Computer Networks from Derby University, UK (2007) and Master in Computer Science from Peshawar University, Pakistan (2002). Dr. Babar’s research interests center on improving the energy efficiency in Wireless and Mobile networks, Secure Routing Protocols for both WSNs and MANETs, Searching in Peer-to-peer Networks, and Communication in 3D WSNs. He is also interested in other aspects of informatics and has published many articles in this area. Prior to working at Zayed University, he worked as an academic and industry in South Korea, Oman, United Kingdom, Rep of Ireland and Pakistan.
