Stefan Genten

Biography

 Mr. Stefan Genten has been Chief Financial Officer and Member of Management Board at Altana AG since August 1, 2015. Mr. Genten served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Grünenthal GmbH from 2009 to 2014 and served as its Member of Executive Board from 2005 to December 2014. He served as Head of Financial, Controlling, Legal & IT at Grünenthal GmbH from 2001 to 2004. He joined Grünenthal GmbH in June 2001 as authorized signatory and divisional president of Financial and Controlling. He started his career as Business Trainee of Rheinbraun AG, Cologne and served as its Head of Subsidiary Controlling from 1997 to 1998. He served at Rheinbraun AG, Cologne as commercial trainee from 1996 to 1997. From 1998 to 2000, he served as head of Corporate controlling at RWE AG's Construction division (Hochtief Group) and later also taking over as head of corporate planning/strategic issues. He served as Deputy Divisional President of Central Corporate Controlling from July 2000 to 2001. He has been a Director of Laboratorios Andromaco S.A. since 2014. He has been a Non Executive & Non Independent Director at ELANTAS Beck India Limited since January 1, 2016. He completed his studies in Business Administration, Economics, Political Science and Sociology at RWTH Aachen in 1993 as a "Diplom-Kaufmann" (Master of Business Administration). He holds Hernstein General Manager Program from Hernstein Institute for Management and Leadership, Vienna in 2006.
