Steve S

Biography

Steve S is Director – Open Programmes and the module leader for finance on the MBA. He also teaches finance on a variety of Ashridge custom and open programmes. Steve teaches and consults with a range of organisations internationally including CRH, Fenner, JTI, OMV, Philips, and Sinopec. Steve joined Ashridge from PowerGen (now e.on), where he was CFO for one of the company's three operating divisions. Prior to that he was a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, working with both the private and public sectors. Before moving into consultancy Steve was the Financial Controller for bmi. Steve has a BA in Economics & Accounting from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He is a Chartered Management Accountant and also has Chartered Global Management Accountant designation. Steve gained his MBA and PhD degrees at Loughborough University. He is an adjunct professor at the Abu Dhabi Higher College of Technology and lectures at Loughborough and Cranfield Universities and at the Rotterdam School of Management.
