Biography
He is a National Health Service Consultant Cardiologist at Barts Heart Centre and BHR NHS Trust. Koh is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and regularly performs emergency coronary angioplasty (primary angioplasty) at the Barts Heart Attack Centre.
Research Interest
Prof Koh is an expert in transoesohageal echocardiography. He established and headed the Transoesophageal Echo service at London Chest Hospital (Barts Health). He has performed in excess of 2500 transoesophageal echo procedures, and he has published scientific papers and contributed to textbooks (Oxford Handbook of Cardiology) on this subject.
