Jean-jacques Bienaime

Biography

Mr. Bienaimé is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive officer at BioMarin. He joined the company in May 2005 as Chief Executive Officer and member of the board of directors, bringing with him over 25 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

Research Interest

Mr. Bienaimé currently serves on the boards of Incyte Corporation, a biotechnology company, Vital Therapies, Inc., a biotechnology company and The Biotech Industry Organization. He received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a degree in economics from the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris.
