Biography
Having left school after his O-levels, Bruce Philp worked in the pharmaceutical industry before returning to education via Hull College of Further Education. In 1990 he gained a BA Economics from Manchester Metropolitan University, and subsequently attained an MA and PhD from the University of Manchester. Dr Philp's PhD applied the techniques of game theory to the study of radical economics, focusing on work time and distribution. In his career he has taught at a number of Universities, primarily in the areas of microeconomics, political economy and industrial economics. He has been an Associate Editor for Economic Issues, 2007-2013, and is presently on the editorial board of Review of Political Economy.
