Biography
Steve joined Bishop Grosseteste University in 2015 after eleven years teaching in primary schools in Nottinghamshire. During his teaching career Steve taught throughout the primary age range and developed specialisms in behaviour management and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Having completed the National Programme for Specialist Leaders of Behaviour, Steve has undertaken the role of specialist behaviour teacher and has also led provision for pupils with SEND as a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO). Steve has experience of school leadership having held the role of deputy head teacher from 2010 to 2015 and has completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).
