Biography
Ann Nolan Reese is a Co-Founder of Center for Adoption Policy Studies and also serves as its Co-Executive Director. Prior to co-founding the company, Ms. Reese was a Principal at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, Inc. from 1999 to 2000. She served as an Executive Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer at ITT Corporation from 1995 to 1998 and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. She served as a Treasurer of ITT Corporation from 1992 to 1995 and also as an Assistant Treasurer from 1987 to 1992. Ms. Reese served as an Associate at Clayton Dubilier & Rice. She began her career at Bankers Trust and held various treasury positions at Union Carbide and Mobil Oil. Ms. Reese serves as a Director of Merrill Lynch & Co Inc of BofA Merrill Lynch Preferred Capital Trust II. She has been a Director of Genesee & Wyoming Inc. since February 2, 2012; Jafra S.A. and Jafra Worldwide Holdings (LUX) SARL since July 1998, Xerox Corporation since 2003; CDRJ Investments (Lux) SA since July 1998 and BAC Canada Finance Company since 2004. Ms. Reese has been an Independent Director of Sears Holdings Corporation since March 24, 2005. Ms. Reese serves as Lead Independent Director of Xerox Corporation. She serves as a Director of Kmart Holding Corp. since March 24, 2005. She serves as a Director of Merrill Lynch International & Co. C.V. Ms. Reese also served as a Director of Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. from 2004 to 2008. She served as a Director of CBS Corporation since October 30, 2000 and The Jones Group Inc. from July 2003 to May 19, 2011. Ms. Reese holds a BA from University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from New York University Graduate School of Business.
