Biography
I am a member of the University of Bradford alumni, having studied for two undergraduate degrees and a Master's degree with the institution. I worked clinically as a midwife at a local NHS Trust before joining the academic team here at Bradford. Midwifery is a subsequent career and I have previously worked in the areas of both secondary education and therapeutic social work using my first degree. I find that I have many transferable skills from my early career that have shaped my areas of research interest and ways of working in academia.
