Biography
Jules has worked in the NHS and third sector since 2001 working in mental health, substance misuse and stroke services. She has been responsible for project managing significant redesign of NHS and third sector clinical services to respond to government policy (e.g. National Service Frameworks, National Stroke Strategy) and national clinical guidelines (e.g. National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and National Treatment Agency for Substance Misuse (NTA). Since 2011 Jules has worked in NHS Research and Development in Stroke Care and Mental Health, working on a diverse range of research studies including stroke research and mental health research with younger people, adults and older people and dementia research in care homes.
Research Interest
Living well with chronic health conditions, recovery, health inequalities, psychosocial research, social inclusion, social policy responses and implementation.
