Dr. Christos Pitelis major research interest involves core themes of Strategic Management and International Business, as well as the political economy and governance of globalization and strategies for the sustainable competitive advantage (SCA) of nations, including clusters and business ecosystems, foreign direct investment, and industrial and innovation policies,sustainability of value and wealth creation and capture by business organisations and nations in today’s semi-globalised knowledge-based economy, as well as in devising governance structures and strategies for sustainable global value creation that aligns corporate, public and supranational governance, and foster SCA but also global system-wide economic sustainability.
