Biography

Working as a Reader in the department of Mathematics at Brunel University

Research Interest

Finite element, and related, methods in space and time for partial differential equations arising in continuum mechanics. Particularly interested in dispersive materials such as polymers and lossy dielectrics for which the constitutive laws exhibit memory effects. Currently interested in finding novel interpretations of finite element and related algorithms that are suited to the current and evolving multicore and heterogeneous high performance computing era.
