Chris Jennings

Biography

Chris has over thirty years' experience in the public and academic sector related directly to sport and recreation. Chris began his career in Somerset and went on to work for five local authorities across the United Kingdom rising to Assistant Chief Officer before moving to Cardiff Met. As Director of Sport he is responsible for managing the strategic development of the universities sports facilities, sport and recreational offer and outreach initiatives. In addition Chris manages the unique partnership between the City Council and Cardiff Met to deliver sport development across the City, providing a range of exciting placement opportunities for students.
